This new version of 'Slip Your Mind' is more of a 'sonic upgrade' than a remix. While most of the core elements of the song remain unchanged, I tracked new guitars, bass and made some drum edits that I felt should have been done when the song was originally mixed back in 2002. - CW

Like our remix of 'Slip Your Mind', this new version uses the majority of the original elements except for new guitars, bass, and some drums edits. The big difference with this 'remix' is that Josh tracked new vocals. When mixing this version, I treated Josh's original vocals from 2002 as background vocals/overdubs. This gives the new mix a haunting quality as Josh is essentially singing a duet with his younger self. And in light of the lyrical content - this adds much more depth to the mix. - CW
